Calendario Astral ("the Service", "we") is an astrology app offering transit calendars, moon phases, natal charts, and interpretations. The Service is available on the web (chamanangel.com) and as a connected app inside AI assistants such as Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI) via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This policy explains what data we process and why.

1. Data we collect

Account data (when you sign in with Google): your name, email address, and Google account identifier. Signing in is optional — general calendar features work without an account.
Birth data (optional): the birth date, time, and place you provide so we can compute your natal chart, personal transits, and synastry.
Preferences and notes: app settings, shared charts you generate, and personal comments or notes you add to a day, and the intention and review you write for each lunar cycle. Only you see those texts: they are not sent to any AI provider or to analytics.
Synastry bonds: when someone invites you to see your compatibility and you accept, we store the bond between both accounts, the date you gave your consent, and any pending invitations you create. Your natal chart is then used, once, to compute the compatibility you will both see, and we store that result with the bond (no degrees, no birth data). The other person only sees the result and your first name — never your birth date, time or place. For "Today for you two" we also store with the bond the positions (longitudes) of your planets that take part in its aspects, with no date, time or place: they are only used for your own daily reading; the other person never sees them and they are not used in theirs. If the person who invited you has push notifications turned on, they get one with your first name and nothing else when you accept. Either of you can break the bond, and it is deleted for both; it is also deleted when either account is deleted.
AI readings: when you ask for an AI tarot reading, we send the AI model provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, depending on how the Service is configured) the spread, the cards and the question you wrote — never your name, your email or your birth data. The provider processes it to write the answer under its own policy. We keep a record of each AI reading — day, feature, model, tokens used and estimated cost — to apply the daily limit and know what the Service costs; that record does not store the question or the answer, and it is deleted with your account.
Daily AI horoscope: if your natal chart is complete, each day we send the AI model provider that day's transits to your chart, already computed on our server (which planet touches which point of your chart, with which aspect and orb), the day's Moon and the retrograde planets, so it can write your horoscope — never your name, your email or your birth date, time or place. We keep each day's reading to show it to you on the web, in the daily email digest and in the connected assistant, and it is deleted with your account.
"Ask the sky" oracle: when you ask it a question, we send the AI model provider your question and what the app computes to answer it: the positions in your natal chart (planets, signs, degrees and houses) and in the sky, your transits and, if you ask about a bond, its compatibility result (score, sun signs and aspects; never the other person's name or birth data). We do not send your name, your email or your birth date, time and place as such, although they can be inferred from a chart's positions. We do not store your questions or the answers: only the usage record described above.
Minimal technical data: server logs needed to operate and protect the Service.
Usage analytics and session recording: which pages are visited, which features are opened, and a recording of your interaction with the page (clicks, scrolling and what is shown on screen), so we can tell whether the Service is understood and fix what confuses people. If you have an account, this is linked to your internal identifier, first name, last name and email. What you type into forms is masked in the recording. No cookies are used.
Error reports: when something breaks on the server, the technical error is recorded — which part failed and on which screen — so we can fix it. It does not include your name, your email, your birth data, your cookies or your IP address: if you have an account, only your internal identifier.

2. How we use data

Authenticate you and keep your session.
Compute and display your personal astrological information.
Save your preferences, charts, and notes across sessions.
Compute the compatibility of a synastry bond, only with the explicit consent of the person who accepts the invitation.
Generate the AI readings you ask for and apply their daily limit.
Operate, maintain, and improve the security of the Service.

Astronomical calculations run locally on our server; they do not rely on third-party services that would receive your birth data.

3. Access through AI assistants (Claude / ChatGPT)

When you connect Calendario Astral inside Claude or ChatGPT, you authorize access via OAuth. The assistant sends our server only the requests needed to perform the action you ask for. Your birth and account data are stored in our systems, not at the assistant provider. The assistant provider (Anthropic or OpenAI) handles the conversation content under its own privacy policy.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data or share it with advertisers. Data is only processed through infrastructure providers needed to operate the Service (hosting, database, cookieless usage analytics and error monitoring) and, when you ask for an AI reading, the model provider (Anthropic or OpenAI, depending on how the Service is configured), under our instruction, and where required by law.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data — including revoking OAuth access and erasing your birth data — by emailing [email protected].

6. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), OAuth 2.0 with PKCE authentication, and access controls to protect your information. No system is infallible, but we apply reasonable measures appropriate to the data.

7. Minors

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the current version on this page with its update date.
